Jeff Sneider is a veteran entertainment journalist with 20 years of experience as an editor, reporter, columnist, and critic at top-tier publications. He began his career as a 19-year-old contributor to Ain't It Cool News, where he wrote under the pseudonym of MiraJeff. After graduating from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, he moved to LA and began writing for Variety and later, TheWrap, serving two tours of duty at each industry trade. Jeff also spent a year writing for the popular Hollywood newsletter The Ankler, and he currently contributes to LA Magazine, in addition to co-hosting two podcasts -- The Hot Mic with John Rocha, and the awards-themed show For Your Consideration with Scott Mantz and Perri Nemiroff. Jeff also served as Editor-in-Chief of Above the Line, Below the Line, and The Tracking Board, as well as Senior Film Reporter for Collider and Mashable. He has also written for MTV Movies Blog, Hollywood Life, Washington Square News, and the Colorado Springs Independent. Jeff's Oscar picks have appeared on the LA Times' Envelope site right next to Tom O'Neil's. He agrees with screenwriter William Goldman, who famously said of Hollywood, "Nobody knows anything."
